Why StateCraft21?

Communications and, in particular, the Internet has made the world a lot smaller logically that it ever has been before. At the same time, there are more people on a planet whose resources are getting stretched to the limits.

All too many political sites represent a traditional view. That is, one of the existing political and/or economic systems, if implemented by everyone will fix things. Whether it is someone you see on the political Left or the political Right, they all seem to just repeat that if you just agree with them and do it their way, everything will be fine.

Most of those sites are preaching to the converted. If you happen to be someone who thinks you need to go beyond labels to address the real issues in the world today, Statecraft21 is here to give you the tools and, hopefully, the audience.

With that introduction, let the discussions begin. See you in the Forums. But, remember, the idea is to actually look at issues and come up with a way to address them rather than just rant about party politics and such. While expecting to find consensus on every issue seems virtually impossible, thinking along the lines of an answer that can be accepted by everyone really is what we need to do here.

By default, forum content will not appear on the front page. Moderators will select what they consider the best in the forums and promote it to the front page—a reward, if you will, for doing a good job.
