Collateral Murder

Take a look at this page and see what you think. What I saw was some pilots having fun killing people. It seems that what Reuters saw was their journalists getting killed. In general, it sucks.

To me, what sucks more is that this video is classified. That is, the information you see was obtained through a leak. Now, why was it classified?

• It is no secret that cameras exist on these helicopters
• They were not operating is some location where it was not well known the US millitary was there
• There was no secret thing such as an ammunition storage location in the video

The only answer I come up with is that this video shows something bad happening. By that, I mean that it shows that the government that created the video did something that would make them look bad. If that is an excuse for making something classified, the people of that country just lost one of their primary freedoms. They are no longer permitted to review the work their government is doing for them.
